Is your Gmail account hacked? Here is your fix

Are you receiving replies to mails that were never sent by you? Do you feel that your Gmailaccount has been hacked? Then there is no need to make your blood run cold over it and simply call at Gmail help number to fix this issue.
  Following are the steps you make take to fix this issue:
  • The first and the foremost thing to do is to scroll down your Gmail account page and click on Details link beside Last account activity option to track any suspicious activity being executed through your account.
  • In case you find anything suspicious, change your Gmail password immediately by following the steps below:



1.      Go to this link https://myaccount.google.com/intro, and sign in to your account.
2.      Go to the Sign-in & security section, and select Signing in to Google.
3.      Click on Password.
4.      Type in your new password, then confirm it by clicking Change Password.
  • The next thing to do is to report the received mails as spam. For dpoing that open a particular received mail which you consider suspicious. Click on the down arrow on the extreme right. Click on report as spam from the drop down list. You can directly report it as spam by selecting a particular mail and clicking on the exclamation button above the messages.
  • You may also choose to send the full headers of these suspicious mails to the Federal trade commission atspam@uce.gov.
